Nate King | Branding StrategistNate is a Senior at the University of Colorado at Boulder majoring in Advertising, minoring in Political Science, and receiving a certificate in Technology, Arts and Media. He is a Seattle native and a graduate of The Bush School. He has previously served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the CU Distinguished Speakers Board, as a Marketing Strategy intern at the non-profit organization Bus To Show, and on the executive board of his fraternity. The opportunity for human service combined with his skill set attracted Nate to the Fieldhouse Project.
Kafiya Arte | Field Operative Kafiya is a first generation Somali-American and third year pre-med student at the University of Washington. She is working towards a dual degree in Medical Anthropology and Global Health and Public Health. Her experience includes hands-on involvement in health and education projects in countries around the globe including Ghana, Egypt, Jamaica, Somalia, and Ethiopia. As the Fieldhouse Project promotes progress through education, Kafiya is ecstatic to be involved and help the project realize it’s goal whilst allowing her to work towards her own: eradicating poverty in marginalized communities all over the world.
