Partnership Announcement: Storytellers for Change

The Fieldhouse Project and Storytellers For Change have partnered  in order to produce and execute a pilot Youth Advisory Council (YAC) program.

Started in 2013, The Fieldhouse Project has followed its mission to facilitate economic empowerment and community development through education and athletics. With one project based in Ghana, West Africa, the YAC program is the first initiative to execute the founding mission in Seattle. Through this partnership, the YAC program will have meaningful, structured, and proven curriculum.

Storytellers For Change’s experience in the US education sector coupled with The Fieldhouse Project’s international projects will make for an enriching and exciting curriculum consisting of real-world policy programs, skill-building sessions, and leadership trainings.

Fieldhouse Project president, Josh Klein, is excited about this project, “not only do our organizations have complementary missions, Luis’ experience in program development and his passion for his work have already been invaluable to the launch of this program.” Klein added, “we are thrilled to have Storytellers’ continued involvement and support.”
